Third-party Badges

Blockchain certifications as a service

  • These are also referred to as “web3 certifications as a service”

  • They are issued by a third-party entity that decided to use TheBadge’s certification platform to issue its own certificates.

  • These badges are backed by this third-party entity.

For example:

An online educational platform, such as Udemy, could issue its certifications on-chain by registering as a third-party entity on TheBadge. Once registered, it will be able to create its certifications on-chain without having to develop the technology.
